(1) If an affected student finally arrives in Taiwan and completes the registration process after the first day of the 2nd semester but before the end of the 6th week (i.e. Saturday, April 11, 2020), he/she is entitled to an exemption equal to one-third of the tuition and other required fees payable.

(2) If an affected student a) finally arrives in Taiwan and completes the registration process on or after the 7th week (i.e. Sunday, April 12, 2020) or b) chooses distance learning or correspondence courses offered by the University, he/she is entitled to an exemption equal to two-thirds of the tuition and other required fees payable.

(3) If a super senior denied entry into Taiwan takes 9 or less credits, only credit fees will be collected by the University.

2. Those who take face-to-face or online courses offered by other universities or courses offered by Taiwan-based e-learning platforms are entitled to an exemption equal to two-thirds of the tuition and other required fees payable, but they have to bear the expenses incurred from inter-university course registration.

3. Those who take part in an exchange program overseas are required to pay the tuition and other required fees in full to the University.

4. If an affected student is permitted to enter Taiwan because the Central Epidemic Command Center lifts the entry ban, he/she has to report to the Student Campus Life Guidance Section by showing the boarding pass and the passport (or the Exit & Entry Permit) when returning to the University.

II. Pursuant to the Academic Rules of I-Shou University, students who apply for suspension of schooling or withdrawal from the University on or after the 13th week are not eligible to apply for a refund.

III. On the 13th week, the list of students adopting the “Safely Back to School” measures will be delivered to the Office of Academic Affairs and the Office of Student Affairs, respectively, to ascertain such students’ registration status, entry into Taiwan, online course registration results, etc., in order to compute the refund amount.
